Over 500 Patients On Trolleys Today

30 of those are in midlands hospitals.

528 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this morning.

INMO figures show 388 are in emergency departments, while 140 are in wards.

30 people are waiting on beds in the midlands today - 17 of which are in Regional Hospital Mullingar, with the remaining 13 in Portlaoise.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 106 patients on trolleys.

That's followed by 59 at Cork University Hospital, and 47 at University Hospital Galway.
