Nearly €500k of the contraband seized was drugs.
Over €600,000 worth of contraband has been seized in the midlands and Dublin.
39kgs of cannabis resin and 11.8kgs of herbal cannabis were uncovered, amounting to over €473,000.
A variety of other illegal drugs were also found, adding up to an estimated €24,500.
The parcels containing the illegal substances originated from the UK, Canada, the USA, Spain, Thailand, India, New Zealand and Sweden, and were destined for addresses nationwide.
Revenue officers also seized a quantity of retail goods worth approximately €119,000.
They were seized due to infringements of Intellectual Property Rights.
