686 people across Ireland have been penalised for organising a house party.
735 fines have been issued by Gardaí across the midlands for breaches of Covid-19 regulations.
529 of those have been in Laois and Offaly, while 206 have come in Westmeath.
Nationally over 17,700 have been handed out, they include 686 fines of 500-euro for organising a house party, and 2,383 fines of 150-euro to people attending parties.
13,036 fines have been issued for non essential travel.
Gardai are appealing to people to reduce their social interactions this weekend.
