Passport Online is the most cost effective method, for anyone applying for a passport.
Over 26,000 passports have been issued in the midlands so far this year.
Tánaiste Micheál Martin has announced more than 775,000 passports have been sent out around the country in 2024.
The Tánaiste has revealed Westmeath has seen the largest number of passports issued in the region so far this year, with over 9,500.
While the figure is more than 8,700 in Laois, and just over 8,000 in Offaly.
Micheál Martin says current forecasts are predicting more than a million passorts will be issued in Ireland by the end of this year.
He also says complete applications are being processed within or before advertised turnaround times with the majority of adult online renewals are being issued within two working days
Minister Martin is encouraging anyone who needs a renewal or is considering applying for the first time, to use Passport Online, as it's the most cost effective method.
