The new organisation is based at Belvedere House and Gardens.
Over 800 women have signed up for Westmeath's first Women's Shed.
The organisation, based at Belvedere House and Gardens, will offer social activities like gardening and crafts, as well as mental health and counselling services to its members.
It will also partner with local direct provision and domestic abuse services to support disadvantaged women in the region.
