Clara LGFA has started a fundraiser for Miya Connolly Loonam who was injured in a crash outside Clara.
An Offaly community is rallying together to help a teenager in her recovery from life-altering injuries.
Over €150,000 has been raised for Miya Connolly Loonam who was involved in a serious road traffic collision just outside Clara last week.
The Go Fund Me page, set up by Clara LGFA just three days ago, has a target of €180,000 to help with expenses related to her care, recovery and ongoing needs.
Gardaí are currently appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place on the Clara/Tullamore Road on Wednesday evening at around 6.15pm.
Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, are asked to make this footage available to investigating officers.
