A total of €8 million in funding has been announced by Ministers Simon Harris and Niall Collins.
The Laois Offaly ETB and Longford Westmeath ETB are to receive €435,000 euro each.
Longford Westmeath TD and Junior Minister Peter Burke, has welcomed the funding saying that it can be used "for small scale works such as necessary infrastructure, improvement works and purchase of equipment."
