An overloaded van suffered a tyre blowout on the M7 yesterday.
The Laois Roads Policing Unit attended the scene of the incident, where it was discovered the vehicle was a tonne overweight, and was filled with industrial machinery.
Gardaí say luckily, no one was injured.
They also say proceedings have commenced against the driver of the van.
