Parents Urged To Try Yoga Before Dismissing Idea Of Teaching It In School

Its after a Waterford bishop said it was not suitable for a parish setting.

Parents should try Yoga themselves before forming an opinion on whether their children should do it in school. 

An Offaly instructor is making the call after a bishop in Waterford sent a letter to schools informing them that it was not of Christian origin and therefore not suitable for a parish school setting. 

The schools who got the letter declined to comment - only confirming it had been recieved.
