Go Purple Day was postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Garda Kevin Flatley.
People across the midlands are being encouraged to 'Go Purple' today to support victims of domestic violence.
The day of collaboration between An Garda Siochana and domestic violence services aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
The day had been marked for earlier in the month but was moved due to the death of Garda Kevin Flatley while on duty.
In Offaly, a public engagement stand is planned for O'Connor Square between 11am and 1pm and in Emmet Square in Birr from 3pm until 5 pm.
An awareness walk is planned in Tullamore town centre at 1pm.
Esker House and Athlone Gardaí will also host an event at Athlone Town Centre, with Mullingar Gardaí also holding an event.
Athlone Garda Stacey Looby founded the event in 2020 and says it's grown every year:
