A planning application is being considered for a major new residential development in Westmeath.
Garrycastle Homes Ltd trading as Alanna Homes wants to construct 75 new houses and apartments on a five acre greenfield site at Kilnafaddoge, Athlone.
The proposed project includes 58 three and four bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses, 17 apartments consisting of one, two and three bedrooms and duplex style residences in three storey buildings.
Additional features such as hard and soft landscaping, public lighting and parking spaces are also planned.
The decision is due by May 17th.
