It brings the total number of solar farms currently proposed for county to five.
Plans are in the pipeline for a further three solar farms in Offaly.
Renewable Energy Systems Limited is seeking 10 year planning permission to construct a 74 hectare solar development near Ballycommon, in the townlands of Ballyteigue Little and Derrygrogan Big, Tullamore.
If approved, the farm would be in operation for 35 years.
Elgin Energy Services is behind two proposed projects - one near Durrow (in the townlands of Gormagh and Culleen, Tullamore) and the other near Portarlington (in the townlands of Trascan and Clondoolusk) - on respective sites of 84 and 39 hectares. It's intended both solar farms would remain in place for 40 years.
Substations, electrical cabling, and other ancillary works are included in each proposals.
They're among five solar farm applications currently being considered by Offaly County Council planners.
Decisions are due on the proposed projects in September.
