The scheme has seen over 1,000 hires already.
Hopes are high that a bike rental scheme in a major midlands town will be extended following positive figures.
The Moby bikes scheme rolled out in the Mullingar Kinnegad area has seen over 1,100 hires so far.
It has also seen just over 800 registered users and 430 active users.
Green Party Councillor, Hazel Smyth says there are plenty of more places in the town where the bikes could be made available:
