A midlands TD says that it's taken longer than expected.
While it's taken longer than expected, it's very positive to see a new operator of out-of-hours GP services in the midlands.
That's according to Longford Westmeath TD, Joe Flaherty, speaking after CareDoc was announced as the new provider in Offaly, Westmeath and Longford.
Services in Laois will continue to be operated by MedDoc, which took over after the MIDOC group ceased trading at the end of last year.
