The Pogues' singer will be laid to rest later today.
President Michael D Higgins and A-list movie star Johnny Depp are expected to be among mourners at Shane MacGowan's funeral later.
The Pogues singer died last month at the age of 65.
Philip Ryan, of JJ Ryan's Undertakers, formerly ran the bar that was frequented by the Irish artist, before his death just over a week ago.
Mr. MacGowan will be laid to rest in St Mary’s of the Rosary Church, Nenagh at 3.30pm.
Speaking to Midlands 103, Mr. Ryan says he has so many fond memories of Shane, who was a kind and decent gentleman:
