Record Crowd Attends Day Two Of Ploughing

It was the largest number of visitors in the event's 91 year history.

Today marks the final day of the Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, County Laois.

Yesterday saw the largest crowd in the event’s 91 year history, with 115,500 people onsite. 

The world ploughing championships will also come to a close later,  with two Irish ploughmen - John Whelan and Eamonn Treacy - in the running.
