Homeowners will now have until next Wednesday.
The deadline for paying Local Property Tax has been extended until Wednesday.
Revenue has pushed back the deadline, which was originally set for this Sunday.
The tax is based on the value of the property and owners must submit their own return via revenue DOT IE before 5pm on the 10th of November.
In the last three days, returns for over 250,000 properties were filed, over 80,000 calls were made to Revenue’s LPT helpline and 15,000 items of correspondence were received.
Revenue say the quickest and easiest way to submit your LPT Return is online via myAccount, ROS or the LPT online Portal.
