The bird was killed in Emo at the beginning of December.
A reward is being offered for information relating to the shooting of a buzzard in Laois last month.
A Garda investigation is ongoing since the bird was killed near Emo on the morning of December 5th.
An initial €100 has been put up by local man Patrick O'Brien and he has started a GoFundMe page in order to increase the fund up to €500.
He says if the person responsible isn't caught then the money will be donated to a cause protecting Ireland's national wildlife.
