A road in Laois has re-opened following a crash this afternoon.
An articulated lorry struck the railway bridge on the Mountrath Road into Portlaoise at around noon.
Gardaí attended the scene and the road was closed while the vehicle was removed, and traffic was diverted.
No injuries were reported and the road has now re-opened.
