A number of detections were made across Laois and Offaly.
Gardaí in the midlands have made a number of arrests for road traffic offences at the weekend.
Among those was a motorist caught speeding 47kmph over the limit on a rural road in Offaly.
A disqualified driver was detected travelling at 155kmph on the M7 on Sunday morning.
They've since been arrested and charged to appear before Portlaoise District Court.
A number of fines were also handed out by police on a stretch of road in Offaly.
The roads policing unit is highlighting one incident of a motorist clocked at 127kmph in the 80kmph zone.
And in Laois an unaccompanied learner driver was arrested in Mountmellick after failing a roadside drugs test.
They tested positive for cannabis and their car was seized.
Gardaí have commenced court proceedings against the driver.
