Laois Offaly TD Brian Stanley will preside over the Public Accounts Committee's meeting with RTÉ today.
Representatives of RTÉ will appear before the Public Accounts Committee this afternoon in relation to undisclosed payments to presenter Ryan Tubridy.
The Oireachtas Media Committee heard from Chairperson of the RTÉ Board Siún Ní Raghallaigh yesterday, who says the broadcaster's bond with the public has been tarnished by recent revelations about the payments.
Former director general Dee Forbes won't be in attendance, citing health reasons - she was the only member of the Executive Board who knew Mr. Tubridy's published earnings were wrong, according to RTÉ.
But PAC Chair and Laois Offaly Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley says the Committee should still be able to get the answers it will be seeking:
