The Save Our Shannon Organisation are requesting a meeting with the Taoiseach, Tainaiste, Minister Eamon Ryan as well as Agricultural Minister Charlie McConalouge.
The group held another protest at the weekend over flooding along the River Shannon, with their numbers increasing to over 200.
They estimate that approximately 6,000 to 7,000 acres of hay and silage has been lost.
