A protest is getting underway in Ballinasloe at 2pm today.
A protest is taking place in a "show of strength" against the cancellation of the Bus Éireann Expressway service through the midlands.
The 20/X20 route from Galway to Dublin - which services Athlone, Moate, Kilbeggan and Kinnegad - was closed last month, despite widespread opposition.
A demonstation is starting at 2pm outside the Emerald Ballroom in Ballinasloe, organised by the local Active Retirement group.
