The 24-year-old, who has been in custody since his arrest at the Four Courts on March 7th.
The trial of Simeon Burke for an alleged offence under the Public Order Act is due to take place at Dublin District Court later this afternoon.
The 24-year-old, who has been in custody since his arrest at the Four Courts on March 7th, has been given time to view CCTV footage of the incident before the trial gets underway.
When the list was called this morning Simeon Burke said there was an issue with the disclosure of CCTV footage.
He said he had requested footage from eight cameras in "the vicinity of the alleged occurrences" but he had only been given footage from three just minutes before a hearing last week.
He also said there had been an "extraordinary occurrence" in court this morning when he was approached by a Garda and given another envelope, which he was told contained the footage from the remaining cameras.
Mr. Burke also told the judge there was an issue with the time stamps on the CCTV footage, which he claimed was “all over the place".
Judge John Hughes gave Mr. Burke and his sister Ammi Burke time to view the footage privately, adjourning the start of the trial until later this afternoon.
