The calls follows reports of a near €60k benefit in kind tax bonus for the company's CEO.
SIPTU says its concerned over reports that Bord Na Mona's CEO received €57,000 a year to cover benefit in kind taxes.
The workers union says it wants clarity over whether Tom Donellan intends to return the 'grossing up' payments which covered tax incurred for a company car and health insurance.
Mr Donellan was already in receipt of a €225,000 salary since at least 2023.
The arrangement was ended following internal papers from the Department of Expenditure highlighting the bonus as a potential PR liability for the state-owned energy company.
SIPTU says workers deserve accountability and transparency at every level of the company, particularly at a time when their own future is being treated as an afterthought.
