130 jobs are expected to be lost due to its upcoming closure.

The site of a Laois cheese manufacturing facility which is soon to close is being listed for sale at a price of €12 million.

Around 130 jobs are expected to be lost when Leprino Cheese in Portlaoise winds down it's operations in the second half of this year.

The decision comes despite the state of the art facility being opened in 2020.

The site is on land zoned Industrial, Enterprise and Employment located just 900 metres from junction 17 of the M7.
