SNAs And High-Risk Teachers Could Be Vaccination Compromise

That's according to the general secretary of the TUI.

A schedule for the vaccination of teachers is needed, to ensure they're all vaccinated before September.

That's according to Michael Gillespie, the general secretary of the Teachers' Union of Ireland.

All three unions have agreed to ballot for industrial action, following the introduction of an age-based system for vaccination, instead of one based on profession. 

The Tullamore man says they've requested a timeline for the roll-out to teachers, but maintains that SNAs and high-risk teachers need to be vaccinated urgently:
