The Housing Minister is committing to meet with the LDA to develop plans for a former Westmeath army barracks.
A public consultation was launched in 2021 to get input on the Land Development Agency's proposals to build homes at Columb Barracks in Mullingar.
The project hasn't made any progress since then, despite the site's capability to provide 100 new homes.
