A yellow wind warning remains in place for Laois, Offaly and Westmeath until 2am Sunday.
Hundreds of Midlands homes and businesses are without power as Storm Dave continues to make its presence felt across the region.
ESB is reporting a fault has caused an outage for 580 premises in the Tubberclair area in Westmeath.
62 homes and businesses in Athlone are also without power, while 24 ESB customers near Mountrath in Laois are awaiting reconnection.
The faults are expected to be resolved between 8pm and 8.45pm.
Met Eireann is warning of the potential for fallen trees and difficult travelling conditions.
