The event is set for this September.
A host of supercars will be rolling through Offaly this year.
Edenderry has been named as a host town for this year's Cannonball, which is returning to the midlands in September.
The likes of a McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Maserati, Rolls Royce and Bentley, will blaze through the town from the 6th to the 8th.
The exact route is yet to be determined but the plan is to come around the back of the town via the new road and then roll slowly through JKL Street so the drivers can put on a show and spectators will get to see the cars.
The best viewing points will be at the Canal Harbour round about and all the way up JKL Street to the court house.
Cannonball has already raised €1.6 Million for Irish charities and, this year, the official charity of Cannonball is the Jack and Jill Childrens Foundation.
