The Coolglass Windfarm proposed 13 turbines in the Swan and Timahoe areas.
The Supreme Court is upholding a High Court decision to reverse a decision to reject plans for a windfarm in Laois.
The Coolglass Windfarm project would have seen 13 turbines developed in the Swan and Timahoe areas of the county.
It was rejected by An Coimisiún Pleanala on the basis that the project was in contravention with Laois County Council's development plan.
The Supreme Court is ruling that that plan doesn't account for the Climate Act.
