Kevin 'Boxer' Moran has been appointed as Minister of State with responsibility for the OPW.
The new Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works is promising to ensure tax payers are getting value for money.
Longford-Westmeath TD Kevin Boxer Moran is making the comments after the OPW spent €490,000 on replacing an unsafe wall surrounding the Workplace Relations Commission in Dublin.
He was appointed in the role of Minister of State yesterday, a position he held during his previous term in the Dáil.
