His classmate was laid to rest on Monday.
The funeral of Dublin teenager Andrew O'Donnell has heard how he was a talented sportsman, who loved animals and music.
The 18-year-old died after he fell from a rocky hill, on the Greek island of Ios over a week ago.
His classmate at St.Michael's College, Max Wall, who died in a separate incident on the Leaving Cert holiday, was laid to rest on Monday.
Fr. Paddy Moran, Chaplain at St. Michael's, read the mother's day card he wrote to his Mum, Mountmellick woman Bebhinn, just a few months ago:
He also says he had a great love for his family - who he wrote about in his Leaving Cert English Paper:
The parents of Andrew O'Donnell say their son will remain 'forever young' in their hearts.
Andrew's father Gavin spoke of how proud he, and his mum Bebhinn were of him:
His mother, Mountmellick's Bebhinn, quoted lyrics from one of his favourite rap artists 'Kid Cudi' when saying her final goodbyes.
