The Ben and Jake Connolly Trust say they're thrilled to finally move in.
A terminally ill Laois boy is moving into a new, specialised house - paid for and built by the local community.
The Ben and Jake Connolly Trust was set up to oversee the construction of the state-of-the-art facility in Mountmellick, for the two brothers who were diagnosed with a rare brain disease.
Unfortunately, two-year-old Jake passed away in 2016 - but the community has continued building, so 10-year-old Ben can receive the care he needs.
The boys' grandad, Con Farrell, says it was a fantastic moment when Ben finally got to move in over the weekend.
He says the house will be available for other families with special needs for years to come - and the Trust needs some final funds to finish off the project:
