Midlands TDs want answers from the Minister.
The ESB's latest announcement on the closure of midlands power stations - and the implications for hundreds of jobs in the region - were at the fore in Leinster House.
It follows on from Climate Action and Environment Minister Richard Bruton's visit to workers on Monday.
It was a free for all in the Dáil chamber as TDs from across the midlands lined up to raise issues regarding the future of Bord na Móna workers in the region.
Offaly independent deputy Carol Nolan went on the attack:
Minister Bruton used his speaking time to re-affirm the government's commitment to a Just Transition for all.
While Laois Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley still had questions about where the O'Moore county fits into this plan.
In all, seven representatives grilled the Minister during a tense 20 minutes - none seemingly left satisfied with his response.
