In total 43 barracks went up for sale with some now being used as a tourist centre, an ambulance base and offices of the State pathologist.
The Commissioners of Public Works has sold 43 former Garda stations since 2014, with a total value of nearly €3.2 million being raised for their sale.
In the Midlands a total of 6 former Garda stations were sold.
The highest price reached for a former barracks reached in this region was in Geashill, County Offaly, which was bought for €123,000.
In Laois, the Ballacolla Garda station sold just for €15,000 euro while the former barracks in Ballinakill station fetched for €92,000.
Three Garda stations were sold in Westmeath – Rathowen went for €15,000, with €20,000 the price tag for Ballinahowen while Ballymore sold for €55,000.
Out of the 43 sold Garda stations – 6 are scheduled to be reopened, 10 remain in State use, 9 are being used by community Groups.
