Three men are due to appear in court in the midlands today after being arrested in connection with an investigation into serious assaults in Galway last month.
Two men received gunshot and stab wounds outside Holy Family Church in Mervue, Galway, on January 13th.
A third man was assaulted nearby, in Walter Macken Street, on the same afternoon.
This morning gardai arrested three men in their 30s and 40s, and they're due to appear in Longford District Court today.
