Two cars collided head-on.
Three people have died in a two car crash in Co Meath.
It happened in Kells yesterday evening.
Gardai say the crash happened on a slip road of the M3 motorway shortly before 5pm yesterday.
Two cars collided head- on. A man and woman aged in their 20s were travelling in one vehicle while a woman and three children were in the second car.
The three adults died, while the children suffered some injuries.
The road was closed for a technical examination, but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly any road users who were travelling in the area at the time and who may have camera footage to contact them
