Three young people who attempted a robbery in Westmeath have been remanded on bail.
They appeared before Mullingar District Court yesterday, following the incident on Tuesday night.
Two teenagers - aged 15 - and one - aged 17 - were charged with attempting to rob Ausra Ramoniene at Butler's Off-Licence, Ashe Road, Mullingar on December 10th.
The court heard that none of the accused made any reply when charged.
Bail was granted on condition that the youths have no contact with each other, they observe an 8pm to 8am curfew, they sign on three times a week at Mullingar Garda Station, they reside at the address given in each case, they each provide a mobile number at which they can be contacted at all times, and they stay away from the scene of the alleged crime.
The three, who were granted free legal aid, cannot be named because they're under 18.
They're due to appear at Mullingar District Court on January 2nd.
