A midlands woman who died in a crash on New Year's Eve is being remembered as a community-spirited teacher with a love of learning.
Westmeath's Saoirse Corrigan - who was a teacher at at St. Clare's College in Ballyjamesduff - was laid to rest in Whitehall, Castlepollard this afternoon.
She and her partner Shane Gilchrist died in a two car collision in Kells last Friday.
Shane will be laid to rest tomorrow.
