12 patients are waiting on beds in midlands hospitals today.
55 patients have been on trolleys in emergency departments for over 24 hours.
In total, 497 people are on trolleys in EDs and wards today - down 31 from yesterday.
That figure is 12 in the midlands, all of whom are on trolleys in Regional Mullingar Hospital.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says the figures remain too high.
