A midlands Lions Club is celebrating its recognition at a national awards ceremony.
In its 50th year, Tullamore Lions Club have been named All Ireland Club of the Year for its service and leadership within the local community.
Some of its projects include, Hooves for Hospice, the Clonbeal Bog Environment Project, Tullamore Annual Book and donation of 5 thousand euro to Self Help Africa.
In December, Offaly County Council honoured the Club with a Civic Reception to mark its 50 years of service and its contribution to the town.
