Laois County Council had among the lowest levels of compensation, with just over €5,000 paid out.
Motorists received about€1.3million in compensation over the past three years for vehicle damage caused by potholes.
A report from BreakingNews.ie found that motorists who filed claims to their local authorities for pothole damage received a total €366,000 last year, down from €383,000 in 2024.
Westmeath County Council paid out over €11,500 in in 43 claims since 2023.

The figures came from 28 of 31 of the State's local authorities following a freedom of information request.
