A midlands university is revealing a large scale project for Offaly.
TUS Midlands in Athlone is seeking permission to construct a new innovation suite, the installation of a new bio-refinery and a living laboratory at Drumcaw or Mount Lucas.
The work also involves the installation of four 6-metre-high poles for internet connectivity, new entrance gates, perimeter fencing, signage, and the construction of a secure compound complete with gates and fencing.
A decision is due by Offaly County Council on November 24th.
