Two men have been arrested after guns and ammunition were discovered during a search operation in the midlands.
Gardaí in Tullamore made the arrests on two men aged in their 30s and late 20s at around 7:30pm on Thursday evening.
Both were detained, but have since been released without charge, with investigations into the incident ongoing.
