A third man who was also arrested remains in garda custody.
Two men, charged in relation to an armed robbery in Offaly, are going before the courts this morning.
They were arrested following the incident at a shop in Ferbane at about 6.40 on Monday morning.
Men entered the premises with weapons and threatened staff, before fleeing with a cash, cigarettes and alcohol.
The two, aged 19 and 26, who were arrested in Galway later that day, are appearing before Athlone District Court at 10.30 this morning.
