Two Solutions To Laois Traffic Congestion Given To Representatives

A full presentation will take place in July.

Two solutions are being proposed to alleviate traffic congestion in a Laois town.

A feasibility study conducted on the N80 near Mountmellick is recommending a Western relief road but also indicates that if possible, having both an Eastern and Western relief structure would be preferable.

The study was funded by Transport Infrastructure Ireland and was presented to local representatives at a recent council meeting.

A full presentation of the report will take place at a July Municipal District meeting.
