Over 1,800 customers are being affected by a boil water notice in Laois.
Uisce Eireann is issuing the notice for customers in Killenard, Garryvacum, Ballybrittas, Lough,Ballycarroll and its surrounding areas.
It's following a HSE consulation due to a micro biological failure from a sample on the network.
Those affected have been directly contacted, with Uisce Eireann working to lift the notice as soon as possible.
