Residents' supply in Laois and Westmeath may be disrupted until later this evening.
People in the midlands may be without water supply this afternoon.
Irish Water is reporting two separate burst water mains in Laois and Westmeath.
In Westmeath repairs are being carried out on the mains supply in Knockdrin.
These works are taking place until around 5pm this evening, with another 3 to 4 hours estimated for restoration time after that.
The affected areas are Mullingar, Knockdrin, Rathconnell, Cloughan, Monilea, Clonkill, The Downs, Clonickkilvant, Killucan, Rathwire, Mullingar.
Meanwhile another fault is being worked on in Portarlington in Laois.
Uisce Eireann says the repairs will be complete by 4pm this afternoon, again there's a period of three to four hours after the works are complete before all supply will return to normal.
Residents in the Arlington Estate and its surrounding areas are being affected.
