A Midlands Junior Minister says he voted against the abolition the mandatory three day wait for women seeking abortion on behalf of his constituents.
Longford Westmeath TD Robert Troy voted against the Sinn Fein amendment, which passed through the Dail last night by 86 votes to 70.
Government TDs Peter Burke, Micheal Carrigy, John Clendennen, Tony McCormack and Kevin Boxer Moran, along with Independent rep Carol Nolan all voted against the proposal.
